About
KemoNine’s Culinary Notebook is a personal collection of recipes and cooking notes.
A few notes
- Work in progress: A recipe marked is good to make as written but is under development and may change over time.
- Footnotes: Some ingredinents have little super script numbers. You can click them to jump to the proper footnote and have it highlighted. In the footnote there is a little
^(carat) that will take you back to the ingredent in the list and clear the outline. - Keep screen on: Recipe and note pages have a “Keep screen on” switch so the display won’t sleep while your hands are busy. It only appears when your browser supports it, and turns itself off when you leave the page.
- JavaScript: This site works without JavaScript.
- The search function will not work with JavaScript disabled
- The theme mode (light / dark / auto) selection will not be remembered or restored across tabs, windows or sessions
AI
Let me be crystal clear: the content of this site is my doing. I did not tell an AI to put the content of this site together. I did not pull ‘AI recipes’ for use here. This is very much a human website.
That said
I have health issues. Big ones. The kind that make it so I’m required to type one handed quite often. The kind that melt you down from pure pain and put you into shock. Nothing fun and I’ll spare this page, and you, the specifics.
Because of my health issues, I have used AI for the following work on this website:
- I used AI to create the current theme from scratch
- I used AI to build a competent, low bandwidth, useful search for the site
- I used AI to convert this site to a source format that is easier for me to use day to day
- I used AI to create a couple draft pages (not live on the site) that I plan to rewrite in my own words after vetting all information it provided
- If I ever do publish content on this site that used AI assistance a chip will be shown in lists and on the actual page:
