Simple Red Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 yellow onion
  • 8oz red cabbage
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 4 tbsp white wine vinegar

Directions

  • cook onion and cabbage on medium-high heat until softened ; ~5 mins
  • add mustard seeds and cook until they start to pop
  • stir in white wine vinegar and a pinch of salt
  • reduce heat to low
  • cover
  • cook until cabbage is tender ; ~10 mins
