KemoNine's Berry Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups berries
- 1/4 cup honey OR agave nectar
- 1 tbsp corn starch OR 2 tbsp arrow root starch
- 3/4 cup water (divided into 1/2 and 1/4)
- citrus zest
- 1/2 tbsp citrus juice
Directions
- Place berries + 1/2 cup water + sweetener + citrus juice + citrus zest in pot
- Bring to boil
- Remove from heat
- Mix starch into 1/4 cup water to create a slurry
- Add starch slurry to mixture
- Stir *gently* until sauce has thickened enough to coat back of spoon
- Chill
Notes
- You should be able to use any berry + citrus some recommendations:
- Blueberry + Lemon
- Raspberry + Lime
- You can use 1/2 cup white sugar instead of honey or agave nectar
- This freezes good and keeps awhile in the fridge
