Cajun Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste / ground)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (to taste)

Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs chicken (cubed)
  • onion (diced ; optional)
  • 1/2 lbs penne pasta
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 8-12oz cream cheese

Directions

  1. Big sauce pan
  2. Soften onion
  3. Add chicken and cook just through
  4. Add broth and deglaze
  5. Add penne
  6. Bring to boil
  7. Reduce to simmer
  8. Cover
  9. Cook, stirring occasionally until penne done
  10. Slowly add cream cheese chunks until desired creaminess
