Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• 2 large sweet potatoes
• 1/4 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3 tbsp butter

Directions

1. boil potatoes until knife test tender
2. peel skin off potato
3. slice potatoes
4. add brown sugar and butter to pan and combine
5. heat until the mixture changes consistency (~5 mins ; foamy/frosty)
6. add sweet potato slices to mixture
7. cook until brown on side
8. flip and cook until brown on reverse side
9. done
