Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad

Ingredients

• penne
• chicken
• 1 red onion ; chopped
• 1 cup pesto
• salt to taste
• pepper to taste (go 'heavy')

Directions

1. grill or pan cook chicken
2. set chicken aside to cool
3. cook 1/2 of the onion
4. cook penne
5. shred chicken
6. mix penne, chicken, raw onion, cooked onion, pesto, pepper, salt
7. serve
