Faux Spanish Rice

Ingredients

• 1/8 tsp smoked sweet paprika (regular paprika is a sub)
• dash smoked hot paprika (smoked paprika as a sub)
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp medium coarse ground pepper (or equiv)
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 red/orange/yellow pepper, diced
• 1/2 cup white or brown long grain rice
• 1 tbsp wild rice (cooked 25 mins, drained, cooled)

Directions

1. cook wild rice 20-25 mins (1/2 way through), drain, set aside
2. sauteed bell pepper lightly, set aside
3. toast rice
4. add spice and mix thoroughly
5. add everything else
6. bring to boil
7. reduce to simmer
8. cook 20-25 minutes
