Ingredients

  • 1 lbs red meat
  • Potato (large chunks)
  • Carrot (large chunks)
  • Parsnip (large chunks)
  • Squash (large chunks)
  • Mushroom (halved)
  • 2-4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 cups broth (beef)
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon WorcestershireNote 1
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Notes

  1. Worcestershire sauce usually contains anchovy (fish); a fish-free/vegan version exists

Directions

  1. Set to sautee and wait for pan to get warm
  2. Add Olive Oil for browning meat
  3. Brown meat
  4. Sautee garlic with meat briefly once meat is lightly browned
  5. Deglaze pan
  6. Add spices
  7. Mix well and ensure the spices are mostly even through liquid
  8. Add all veggies
  9. Change to meat/stew setting
  10. 35 minutes high pressure
  11. 10 minute natural release
  12. Quick release rest
  13. Eat
