  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp orange flavoring

  1. boil till clear
  2. set aside

  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup nuts (walnut recommended)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp orange flavoring
  • 1 cup Mazola
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp clove

Directions

  1. beat by hand, batter will be loose
  2. bake 30 mins @ 350F

  1. pour syrup over hot cake
  2. pierce with fork
