Microwave Eggs

Directions

  1. put oil in bottom of mason jar (same as you'd use in a frying pan)
  2. swirl around
  3. crack egg into mason jar
  4. season top of egg
  5. swirl lightly
  6. poke egg with kebab skewer or tooth pick or similar (gently to prevent mixing)
  7. cover with paper towel (loosely so steam can escape and prevent explosions)
  8. microwave in 10-30s bursts
  9. let cool once cooked (it'll be **hot**)
  10. shake out onto plate/bowl
  11. enjoy

Alternative Styles

Scrambled
scramble then put in jar
Hard Boiled
Cook for a more extended period and it’ll turn into a boiled egg for consistency / flavor / texture
Poached
Put a measure of water in the bottom of the jar instead of oil
