Simple Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

• 2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp medium coarse ground pepper
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 1 cup water
• 1 10oz can cream of celery (or mushroom or chicken or…)
• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
• 1 lbs chicken, cubed
• 16oz spaghetti, broken in half

Directions

1. mix spices in small dish
2. whisk can of soup into 1 cup water until smooth
3. in deep skillet / similar ‘one pot meal’ pot…
4. sautee chicken in canola oil, draining excess fat, until just about cooked
5. dust chicken with spices
6. add butter to pan and stir till spices and butter form a good coating on the chicken
7. add broth to pan and scrape any bits from bottom of pan
8. add soup mix to pan
9. stir well to combine
10. bring to boil on medium high heat
11. stir in spaghetti
12. cover and reduce to simmer
13. cook ~20-25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until pasta is cooked ; NOTE: the pasta will likely stick / clump, break any clumps apart when stirring
