Ingredients: 2 tbsp chilli powder; 1 tbsp paprika; 1/2 tbsp (1.5 tsp) dry mustard; 1 tsp garlic powder; 1 tsp dried minced onion; 1/2 tsp cumin; 1 tbsp brown sugar; 1 lbs ground beef; 1 15 oz can tomato sauce; 1/2 cup beef broth; 1 yellow onion (diced); 1 bell pepper (diced ; green preferred); 2 cloves garlic (minced); 1 lbs ground beef; 1 15 oz can tomato sauce; 3 tbsp tomato paste; 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar; 2 tbsp brown sugar; 1 tsp dijon mustard; 1 tsp chilli powder; 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce; 3/4 tsp salt (optional)

Sloppy Joe (Low / No Spoon)

Ingredients

2 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp paprika
1/2 tbsp (1.5 tsp) dry mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried minced onion
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 lbs ground beef
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup beef broth

Directions

mix spices
brown meat
add everything
simmer for 10-15 minutes

Sloppy Joe (Fancy)

Ingredients

1 yellow onion (diced)
1 bell pepper (diced ; green preferred)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 lbs ground beef
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
3 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce^{Note 1}
3/4 tsp salt (optional)

Ingredient notes

Worcestershire sauce contains anchovy (fish), so it is not vegetarian. Fish-free versions exist. ^

Directions

brown meat
add onion, bell pepper, garlic and cook till onion translucent
add everything else
simmer on medium-high for ~5 minutes
