No Milk Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients

red or russet potatoes
-
canola or sunflower oil
Directions
-
boil potatoes whole with skins on until tender
-
drain and cube potatoes
-
place cubes in large bowl
-
add a good measure of oil to bowl and lightly start mashing
-
continue massing and add more oil until the desired texture is obtained
-
add small amounts of water to thin and smooth texture as you go
- garlic powder is a good spice
- fresh ground pepper is a good spice
