Microwave Eggs
Instructions (over easy / medium / hard)
- put oil in bottom of mason jar (same as youd use in a frying pan)
- swirl around
- crack egg into mason jar
- season top of egg
- swirl lightly
- poke egg with kebab skewer or tooth pick or similar (gently to prevent mixing)
- cover with paper towel (loosely so steam can escape and prevent explosions)
- microwave in 10-30s bursts
- let cool once cooked (itll be hot)
- shake out onto plate/bowl
- enjoy
Alternative Styles
- Scrambled
- scramble then put in jar
- Hard Boiled
- Cook for a more extended period and itll turn into a boiled egg for consistency / flavor / texture
- Poached
- Put a measure of water in the bottom of the jar instead of oil
